Flower Picking at Orr's

'

Today was another busy day! This morning, I took Aiden and his friend to the library to see the live water animal exhibit. Afterwards, we grabbed some lunch with friends and headed to Orr's for flower picking. The zinnias and sunflowers were plentiful! I can't even begin to tell you what a big smile these colorful flowers brought to my face.

I love fresh flowers, but rarely spend the money on them at the store or flower shop. Want a bouquet of fresh flowers without paying a fortune? Head on over to Orr's or your local orchard and treat yourself. I paid just $5.00 for a large bouquet!

My flowers are blooming...

Flowers are one of my favorite things about summer. I am especially proud that my hydrangea has bloomed for the very first time. It took several years, but this beautiful flower was well worth the wait!

My neighbor grows lavender and was kind enough to share some with me. It smells wonderful in my kitchen!

I can hardly wait for my zinnia and black-eyed susan to bloom. What is your favorite flower?
