Update on Rite Aid Diaper Deal

I wanted to give an update on the diaper and wipes deal at Rite Aid this week. On Tuesday, I went to Rite Aid and purchased two jumbo packages of Huggies diapers and two tubs of Huggies wipes. The diapers were on sale for $9.99 each and the wipes were $3.49 each. I used the following coupons:

1-$5.00/$25.00 Rite Aid coupon
2-$1.50/1 Huggies diaper coupons
1-$1.00/2 Huggies wipe coupon

My subtotal was $17.96. Add the $1.32 sales tax for a grand total of $19.28. I immediately came home and submitted for the $14.00 in rebates. I received an email this morning advising me that my rebates have been accepted. So, I will end up paying $5.28 for the diapers and wipes after rebate. What a deal!

I got my 10 FREE Soy Joy Bars

I went to Rite Aid this morning and got the free Soy Joy Bars. Is anyone else planning to take advantage of this deal? If so, the bars are located in the back of the Martinsburg store--directly in front of the pharmacy. Hurry because they only had three flavors remaining in stock.

Moneymaker on Soy Joy Bars

Soy Joy bars are on sale 10/$5.00 this week at Rite Aid. Purchase 10 of them and submit for online rebate and receive $5.00 back. Use two of THIS coupon for $1.00 off five Soy Joy Bars (hit the back button and refresh to print twice). You'll pay $3.00 out of pocket for ten Soy Joy bars. After you receive the $5.00 rebate, you'll make a $2.00 profit. You can't beat that! I just read that Soy Joy bars are also gluten free.

Do you have any prescriptions that need filled?

Many pharmacies put out valuable prescription coupons because they want your business. I use one of these coupons almost every time we need to get a prescription filled (both new and refills). Yesterday, I took this coupon to Rite Aid when I picked up a prescription. I paid the co-pay for the prescription and they handed me back a $30.00 gift card to Rite Aid. Since I don't shop there very often, I immediately took the Rite Aid gift card up to the front counter and purchased a $25.00 Macy's gift card and two packages of Mott's apple juice boxes (they were on sale for $2.50 each). I paid .15 sales tax on the juice boxes.

I was happy to profit a $25.00 gift card and 18 juice boxes for transferring a prescription that needed filled anyway. I'm saving the Macy's gift card to give my mother (along with other gifts I've already purchased) for her birthday in January.

Next time you need a prescription filled, check to see if any prescription coupons are available. I frequently use them at CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid. If you have any questions, please be sure to ask. I love helping others make the most of their money.
